| Annual Western Class Welcomes Fourteen | |

The annual western PA membership class sponsored by the Pittsburgh Chapter of Rose Croix, A.A.S.R., was held at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center on March 12. John Turkovsky, Most Wise Master of the Pittsburgh Chapter, was the honored guest. The day's program was organized by State Scribe David Labagh,
with The Initiatory Degree was conferred by a team led by SMC Justin Killian, and accompanied by an outstanding group of Preceptors. The DeMolay Degree cast included Alex Fizz as Jacques DeMolay, Steve Logan as Master Inquisitor, Seth Anthony as Senior Inquisitor, Jake Palo as Junior Inquisitor, and Jeff Bortz as Guy of Auvergne. "Dad" Tom Labagh, Executive Officer, called it the best Jacques DeMolay and Master Inquisitor combination he's seen in 30 years! The 4th Section was conferred by David Labagh. The degrees were conferred for a total of 14 candidates, 5 of whom had been obligated previously. "Dad" Joe Schrock, Chapter Advisor of Steel City Chapter, provided breakfast and lunch for the degree teams, and dinner for all. "Dad" John Colaianne and "Dad" Bob Babb did their usual great job preparing the regalia and getting everything ready for the Casino Night (real fun, fake money).
