Museum Trip is Also Prospect Event

On Sunday, April 23, Friendship-Bray Chapter had an outing to the Natural Science Museum in Philadelphia. (It also doubled as a prospect event, because we had a potential new member!)

Junior Councilor Michael Hunt, Standard Bearer David Sumba, Chapter Sweetheart Crystal Hunt, prospective member Brian Beebee, joined by "Moms" Hunt and O'Leary and "Dad" Freedman, along with David's parents, embarked on a journey of meeting animals, from some that have been dead for over a million years, to real live ones.

We met dinosaurs (and their fossils), frogs, fish, birds, and stuffed animals such as elk, antelopes, zebras... and lions, and tigers, and bears (oh my).

Crystal got to dissect a frog electronically. David wanted to go behind the glass and pet the stuffed animals. Brian was "hanging ten" on a bronze turtle. Mike just wanted to eat. All the kids went on a mini-fossil expedition.

It was a fun and educational time!

"Dad" Rick Freedman
