Two Philly Chapters Join to Host Parents

We are all taught that one of the most important DeMolay Virtues is practicing Love for Parents; or "Filial Love."

We also know that one of our seven Obligatory Days is Parent's Day, held between Mother's Day and Father's Day each year.

The combined efforts of two Master Councilors from the Philadelphia Region, Bros. Michael Hunt (Friendship-Bray) and Sam Riddell (Northeast) led to a Parent's Day that was a huge success.

The event was a fully catered breakfast, where the parents of the DeMolays in all PA Chapters were invited at attend. The young men were "supposed to" pay for their parents (although we don't know how many did that) and serve them breakfast.

Bro. Joe Pullin, SJC and PMC-NE presented the Flower Talk, and he did such a nice job, that we saw several parents wiping their eyes.

This particular day also DOUBLED as a Prospect Event, as new member Matt Libkind not only brought his father, but also brought his brother and friend along - - they were so impressed by everything and everyone, that they will be joining Friendship-Bray Chapter! Nice job, Matt!

Let's keep the enthusiasm going, guys - - let's keep bringing in those new members - - DeMolay in Philadelphia is on the grow!
