Convention 2006 in York was another smash hit, from LaserDome and Revolution Paintball to HersheyPark happy and beyond.

Interest and attendance at PA Conventions continues to climb, and that's no mistake. It's thanks to the outstanding planning of PA DeMolay's Convention team, including Executive
Secretary "Dad" Dave Berry, Convention Director "Dad" Randy Knapp, and especially (new this year!) Youth Chairman Michael Labagh and Assistant Chair Michael Brown. When Convention is fun, people come back ... and this is some serious fun.

Other highlights included selection of new State Officers and crowning of the new State Sweetheart, formal recognition of the relationship between PA DeMolay and PA Knights of Pythagoras, the kickoff of the new "Quest" membership incentive, the induction of seven new brothers, a ton of well-deserved awards, including the "Guild of the Leather Apron," or PA Advisor of the Year.

The weekend also featured special visits from the Grand Master of Masons in Pennsylvania "Dad" Ronald A. Aungst, Sr. , and Grand Master of DeMolay International, "Dad" Keith Klein (which was really something to shout about).
