Softball Weekend 2006

The annual Brotherhood Softball weekend brought some new twists to an old favorite this year. In addition to the usual softball and tennis competitions, this year's weekend introduced the first-ever PA DeMolay Bowling Tournament at Elizabethtown's Clearview Lanes.

This was the third year of "pick-up" brotherhood games replacing the former Chapter team competitions. The newer format allows Chapters to participate that could not field an entire team, and emphasizes the sportsmanship goals of DeMolay athletics. Chapters participating this year included Allentown, Chester-Pike, Elizabethtown, Erie, Friendship-Bray, George Washington, Lorraine, Northeast, Pilgrim, Reading, Somerton, Steel City, Templar, and Westmoreland.
