Pilgrim
Chapter worked with Harrisburg Freemasons to complete a
Habitat for Humanity project. Several Masons came
up with the idea to get involved in a project to help the community.
Habitat for Humanity is a great program, building houses for hard
working people that need homes. The Masons came out on several different
dates working to construct a home on 18th Street in Harrisburg.
The Brothers asked Pilgrim Chapter to come out one Saturday to make
lunch for the crew that was working. Pilgrim came out in
full force. Lunch included grilled hotdogs and sausage prepared
in front of the property. Later, everyone pitched in to clear rocks
and brush from the side yard to prepare for planting grass the next
day. Even "Dad" Knapp tried his hand at
some manual labor.
