7 Honored in 2006 Western Legion Conferral

The DeMolay Legion of Honor was conferred upon seven deserving individuals at the Butler Masonic Temple on Saturday, October 14, 2006. The honor was conferred by "Dad" Rick S. Freedman, assisted by Legionnaires "Dads" Dick Fitzsimmons, Scott Eaton, Rodney Boyce, Randy Riggle, Curt Rauschenberger, and Tom Labagh. Active DeMolay Preceptors were Justin Dunmire, Joe Pullin, Dan Williams, Jake Palo, Alex Swift, Jeff Bortz, and Ryan Davidson.

Andrew O. Fitzsimmons
Brother Fitzsimmons is a Past Master Councilor of Erie Chapter who holds the degree of Chevalier and the BHK. He is a member of Perry Keystone Lodge No. 392 F & AM and he coaches all of Erie Chapter's sports activities and his church's basketball team.

  Eric M. Ullom
Brother Ullom is a Past State Master Councilor of PA DeMolay and a Past Master Councilor of Joppa Chapter. He holds the degree of Chevalier, the PMC-MSA, RD, and BHK. He is a member of Washington Lodge No. 164 and an advisor with Templar Chapter.

Richard A. Davis
Brother Davis is a Past Master of Perry Keystone Lodge No. 392 F & AM and an active advisor with Erie Chapter. He volunteers extensively with the American Cancer Society and the Red Cross.

  Jesse J. Ferraro
Brother Ferraro is a Past Master of Lawrence Lodge No. 708
F & AM, Past District Deputy for DeMolay District 1, and an active advisor with Erie Chapter. He is a youth baseball coach, choir director, church organist, and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

  Dale A. Markle
Brother Markle is a member of Butler Lodge No. 272 F & AM and works with Lorraine Chapter. He is the principal of Emily Brittain Elementary School and has been instrumental in providing the school gym for Lorraine Chapter and Masonic CHIP Programs.

  Paul W. Taggart
Brother Taggart is a member of Grove City Lodge No. 603 F & AM and is active with Lorraine Chapter. He attends Stated Meetings and other activities to support DeMolay. He is very active in the Masonic community and also with the Red Cross.

  Richard A. Williams, Sr.
Brother Williams is a Past Master of Dormont Lodge No. 684
F & AM. He is a Past Chapter Advisor of Fidelity Chapter and current Advisory Council Chairman of Templar Chapter. He has been a DeMolay advisor for nearly 20 years.
