March 10, 2007 was a great day for Abington Township and the Township of Roslyn.  Three that’s right, Three DeMolay Chapters came out to support the Roslyn Events Committee. 

This Events Committee is hosting a Roslyn Film Festival.  The proceeds will benefit the Roslyn Fire Company, and this committee needed to spread the word so…

Who would be better to spread the word than DeMolays of Southeastern Pennsylvania?

Friendship-Bray, Freedom and Northeast Chapters pulled together and worked as a team to hand out flyers for the Events Committee. 

Abington Township Commissioner Lori Schreiber was on hand to sign Proclamations for all three Chapters!   She thanked the members for all of their help and told them she would keep Pennsylvania DeMolay in mind for more community service, especially since we are a “Leadership and Service Organization”.

Each participating Chapter will receive points in the DeMolay Month 88th Award of Excellence program for having a Proclamation signed (10 points) and Community Service Project (10 points).
