Pennsylvanians Compete, Win, in MATOC

The Mid-Atlantic Tournament of Champions (MATOC) Ritual Competition was held in Dover, DE on September 7-9, 2007. 32 trained and experienced Judges from 14 different Chapters volunteered up to 8 hours for continuous ritual judging. There were 27 team competitions and 70 individual contests, involving 112 competitors from 25 Chapters.

We are particularly proud of the following competition winners:

PA had 22 DeMolays, and 27 adult leaders present from 11 Chapters: Chester Pike, Erie, Friendship-Bray, Lorraine, Northeast, Pilgrim, Reading, Somerton, Steel City, Templar, and Westmoreland.

Next year, MATOC will be hosted by Pennsylvania DeMolay on September 5-7, 2008 in Harrisburg, PA at the Valley of Harrisburg's Scottish Rite Cathedral. Start planning now to make sure that your Chapter will compete next year!
