On September 30, 2007, Erie Chapter held its Installation of Officers at the Scottish Rite Valley of Erie.  This was a first to have the installation at a place other than the Masonic Temple.  Steve Sowers was installed as Master Councilor for the term October 2007 – March 2008.  Members of Westmoreland and Steel City Chapters were in attendance as part of the more than 100 guests.  The installing team consisted of Seth Anthony, PMC-MSA, Howard Wagner, PMC-MSA, Jake Palo, PMC-MSA, SMC, Grant Eaton, PMC, Andy Fitzsimmons, PMC-MSA, and Dave Haffley,  PMC-MSA.

A Cross of Honor Investiture was performed and the honors were presented to “Mom & Dad” Palo.  As a part of the program, Jake Palo presented the Flower Talk and Matt Olsen presented the Shield talk  Wonderful refreshments prepared by “Mom” Johnson followed to bring a close to successful evening.
