On November 3, 2007, Freedom Chapter hosted a "Masonic Youth Prospect Night" at the Laserdome. There were 42 players including DeMolay, Rainbow, and Job's Daughters, and their prospects.
Everyone arrived at about 11 PM on Friday night for five hours of Laser Tag, Arcade Games, Halo 3, pizza and soda. Bro. Jake Zeiber, Elizabethtown Chapter, came ready for action as he used black electrical tape to cover all white areas of his sneakers. His high scores reflected his forethought. Members of Penn Valley Rainbow Assembly worked together as a team and defeated many other teams at laser Tag. "Dad" Steven Walkling was seen "rocking out" on guitar hero.
As expected, Halo 3 and Guitar Hero were very popular with the crowd and there was no shortage of people enjoying Dance Dance Revolution. Freedom Chapter did very well with seven prospects in attendance with four submitting applications for membership within a week. Two other prospects are considering membership. Requests for future events at the Laserdome were received with plans for another event in late October or early November. Any "Youth Group Leaders" wanting to include a great social or prospect event during their term plan next year should contact "Dad" Ken Walkling at Freedom Chapter for information.
