It's been said many times before, but it does deserve repeating: When you bring together DeMolays from 10 different Chapters and give them 3 hours to practice and put on Degree Work, you should never cease to be amazed at the results.

This year, the annual Rose Croix Class, which is sponsored by Pittsburgh Chapter of Rose Croix, A.A.S.R., was held March 13, 2010 at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center. Members from all over the State gathered to induct eleven new members into DeMolay. The Initiatory Degree was performed by Bro. Matt Maple, SSC, with the Fourth Section being conferred by Bro. Howard Wagner, SMC. Jacques DeMolay was portrayed by Bro. Tom Moyer, DSMC, who was interrogated by Bro. Max Ullom of Joppa Chapter, who served as Master Inquisitor.

The highlight of the day came when Bro. Wagner showed off the Rose Croix 2010 Hooded Sweatshirt that will be sent to each first line signer that brought a candidate to the class. Not to be left out, all of the DeMolays who attended were given a long sleeved t-shirt version of the same design. These items were made possible by a generous donation of the Valley of Pittsburgh, A.A.S.R., and are much appreciated!
