The Legion of Honor is the highest adult decoration given by DeMolay International. It is bestowed for meritorious service in some field of endeavor, be it in DeMolay, Masonic, or in secular life. On Sunday, September 26, 2010, PA DeMolay conferred the Legin of Honor on several new Legionairres from the Eastern part of the state at the Valley of Harrisburg, A.A.S.R.
In a ceremony performed by "Dad" Rick S. Freedman, Deptuy Executive Officer and Active Member of DeMolay International, six "Dad"'s were elevated "to the rank, honor, and distinction" of the Legion of Honor. Four of those men, being senior DeMolays were given the Active Legion of Honor:
- "Dad" Horace A. Mason, a 50 year member of Friendship-Bray Chapter and an Adivsor for Elizabethtown Chapter.
- "Dad" Louis E. Grow, Past State Master Councilor and the Director of the PA DeMolay State Officer Program.
- "Dad" Harvey A. Willard, Jr, Past Master Councilor of Norristown Chapter and current Junior Deputy Supreme Tall Cedar of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America.
- "Dad" Seth C. Anthony, Past Master Councilor of Erie Chapter and Director of Convention for PA DeMolay.
Also honored with the Honorary Legion of Honor were two men who have provided outstanding support to the DeMolay program, but who were never members of the order itself:
- "Dad" Harold A. Luckenbaugh, Jr., a Master Mason and a long time advisor of Pilgrim Chapter.
- "Dad" Scott A. Matincheck, District Deputy Grand Master of District 2 of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.

Several dignitaries were in attendance for the occasion, including "Dad" Hap Horgan, Supreme Tall Cedar, "Dad" Russ Baker, Active for Pennsvylania, A.A.S.R., "Dad" Peter Brusoe, Past International Master Councilor, Bro. Chad Reichard, Deputy Jurisdictional Master Councilor of Nation's Capital DeMolay, and several District Deputy Grand Masters.
Following the ceremony refreshments were served by Pilgrim Chapter.
