Meet Sean Corcoran (above, left) of Dallas, PA. Sean is one of PA DeMolay's newest members, having joined at the recent F.S. Land Class in Taylor, PA. Not one to wait around for the spotlight, he got right on line and zapped us his info. For his trouble, he gets this write-up, and a choice of rebate for this summer's Convention, Key Man Conference, or LifeSkills Conference.

Sean is a Sophomore at Dallas High School, and is into football, ice hockey ("Give blood. Play hockey."), and weight lifting. When I spoke with him recently, he had just returned from a school track meet, where he competes in shotput (Life rule: Always be nice to people who can throw heavy objects over long distances). When he's not home, he's most likely to be at the ice rink, or rollerblading. He and his friends like to ride "quads" and dirtbikes, but he wants to be very clear on the fact that he DOES NOT like country music.

His favorite TV show is the Sopranos. Rumor has it he's been offered a bit part next season as Sean "the Iceman" Corcoran ... new tough guy for the Soprano family. No, not really. But hey, if you're from HBO and reading this, and want him on, call us, and we'll have his people call your people.

Sean is sure to enjoy DeMolay, since he considers public speaking one of his strengths. As he says, "I can out-talk most people like Lindros can out deke any defenseman." Yeah, what he said.

Sean is proud of his family and their achievements, and proud to be a new part of PA DeMolay. In fact, he says he joined DeMolay for the sense of pride, Brotherhood, and acheivement. So far, he's enjoying it, and knows that "I'm not in it alone." Very true. Very true.

Sean hopes to go to college, and study Literature and Psychiatry --probably so he can treat sick web writers (HEY!). Meanwhile, we're glad to have him aboard.
